Chris Blackband - Founder

Newland Chartered Accountants was founded by Chris Blackband who is a member of the Institute Of Chartered Accountants in England & wales.

Chris qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2014, having spent 6 years at a small Yorkshire based accounting firm, engaging in accounting, auditing, personal and corporate taxation.

​

Shortly after qualifying, Chris moved to London and spent a number of years working within industry, where he worked for a number of businesses, including a FTSE 100 company. During this time, Chris was able to cultivate his skills in management accounting, financial modelling, and internal controls. 

​

In 2020, after developing a wealth of experience and knowledge within the finance and accounting world, Chris obtained his practicing certificate and formed Newland Chartered Accountants.

​

Outside of work Chris is a keen traveller, and an avid Liverpool FC supporter.
